CD-Fit Overview

Designed to produce the most realistic facial reproductions, CD-Fit offers a fast, powerful and simple weapon in the fight against crime. CD-Fit is the computer based facial identification system from ZEDA ABM and is the key product in the ZEDA ABM Law Enforcement software suite.

Designed to replace the traditional, yet dated, manual methods in use around the world, CD-Fit comes with a CD of over 10,000 individual facial features. CD-Fit's simple operation allows technical and non-technical personnel to use the system with the minimum of training.

The user interface uses straight forward language that quickly and logically guides the user through the identification process. 

The CD-Fit databases contain features for a huge variety of facial types, from many different races which may be freely mixed on screen. At the touch of a button, an initial witness description can be altered to take in slight variations in appearance, such as the size of the mouth, shape of ears, the cut of the hair - even down to scars and imperfections. 

The integral painting package allows the user to streak hair, make a beard a little thicker etc. This powerful combination results in a composite face which closely matches the witness’s description. 

Available on CD-Rom in Windows format, CD-Fit is compatible with the other products from the ZEDA ABM range, such as PROfile - a powerful intelligence tool used to store thousands of mugshots for automatic comparison with a CD-Fit
